So my little girl is 6m (EBF) and around 4.5 months she was struggling with a cold so I brought her in to bed with me. It took a while to shift her cold and long story short she now just wants to latch on all night long, not to feed just for comfort. She won’t take her dummy anymore - she never was too fussed with it anyway. But she wakes looking for nipple when she realises it’s not in her mouth which makes for a very wakeful night but also means I have to sleep in the most awkward positions to constantly have it available for her too. Hoping to get her back into her cot but can’t see how when she wakes to latch all night. Anyone experienced the same / have any advice or tips?!

Lol I am not laughing at you I am laughing because I experienced the same with my daughter at night she breastfeed a lot at one point she wanted my breast in her mouth while asleep I didn't allow it I stood my ground you have to be firm and not give in yes it is going to be hard but you will get there in the end it's mentally darning to have baby on your breast on the clock when all you want to do is sleep try find a way to get her on the dummy maybe buy a different brand
