Hello, pregnant with my second due early Feb and was wondering if there’s anything I can do to prepare my first for the arrival and having another little one around.
Or will they just adjust when they get here?
Any tips and advice welcome :)

Thank you! Was thinking of getting a doll 😊 the books all sound lovely too

What I did with my son I get him to rub my stomach when he does I will tell him is your baby sister and he will repeat after me I show my scan pictures took him to my midwife appointment few times once I had the baby first day I can home he wasn't interested in the baby he was looking at the baby wondering who is this the next day he was fine and started interacting with the baby I included him in everything so he doesn't feel left out whenever he wanted to play with the baby/come near the baby I let him I engage with him and still gave him my time obviously the baby will take up most of your time but it's important to be aware of the other child by ensuring you include he/she in everything but it depends everyone has different experience what works for me might not work for another like my friend has three children when she had baby number 3 it took 2weeks for her second child to adapt to the baby
