Brown discharge

4 weeks and 3 days. I’ve had light cramping lower right hand side and now brown discharge. Is this a common sign of miscarriage?
HCG was 155 at 4 weeks and the clinic said they were happy with that. Next test is the following week.

Probably just implantation bleeding from the baby embedding in your uterine lining, which is normal, but if you start bleeding bright red blood, have severe cramping, or think something is wrong, you should consult your doctor.

I hope so! I thought the implantation bleeding would have been done and dusted by now.
Hopefully it’s not a impending miscarriage

I know how easy it is to worry. If it would make you feel better, you can take another pregnancy test (the same kind you used before) to see if your line is just as dark or darker.

You can't control what happens, but you can do some things in your baby's best interest. Reduce your stress, take care of yourself physically, and speak positive affirmations over your pregnancy every day.

I'm praying for a sticky baby and happy + healthy pregnancy for you!

First Midwife Appointment

I had my first midwife appointment yesterday, I've been left full of worry is this normal?

She came to my house, she was so lovely I do feel lucky to have such a good midwife. The meeting was about an hour and a half.

There was so much information to take in I was very overwhelmed!
She went through all the scans testing etc, I never knew there could be so much 'wrong' with a baby. I have now booked an early scan I am freaking out.

I've been googling statistics all morning

Braxton Hicks vs early labour — anyone experienced this?

Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if anyone has experienced going into labour with only Braxton Hicks contractions — so more like discomfort or tightening rather than actual pain — and not realising that labour had started.
I’m currently 39+3 and had a sweep yesterday. I’m already 1 cm dilated, baby is 1/5 engaged, and the midwife said she could feel the baby’s head. My cervix is soft and short, so all the signs seem positive — it feels like we’re just waiting for baby to arrive now.
During my appointment, the midwife also noticed I was having 2–3 contractions (just tightening in my bump) without any pain. She mentioned that some women can go into labour without realising it and advised me to keep an eye on them. She even suggested that what I’ve been feeling so far might be what’s helped me get to this stage.
So I’d love to hear if anyone has had a similar experience — I know it’s not impossible!
Thank you 😊

What if I don’t want an induction?

Hi everyone, I’m 39+1 weeks, my next midwife appt is on my due date which I am happy about however hope I go into labour before then. I have had slight twinges and small pains, however nothing has happened yet and I am gutted as I really don’t want any type of induction. Say I get to 41+ weeks, and I don’t want any type of induction, what happens then? This might be a very silly question but my midwife isn’t helpful and would rather hear from others as opposed to doctor Google. Thanksss! X

No bleeding after c section

9 days post op and I’ve not been bleeding at all.. I only bled some clots for the first 24-48 hours but nothing after that. Midwives are advising this is normal, has anyone else experienced no bleeding after c section?

Soft spot concern

I took my little boy into the doctors for a chest infection earlier and they said she concerned over his soft spot hasn't closed yet and is quite sunken.. but he's not dehydrated and putting on weight well, so have done some type of advice and guidance to paeds and said they may want to look at his brain/head or may be nothing, called a doctor in and he said he'd never seen anything like it even working in paeds, which has now made me worry. Anyone else had the same or similar?🥺😭
