LO not eating as much anymore

My LO of 5 months used to eat 180ml of formula each feed (5 times) but the last week or so she has been fighting food only eating on average maybe 120ml. It’s kind of worrying me

Totally normal! It’s a developmental leap (leap 5) and eating more or less is normal!

Same here. Feeding takes forever now and she's not interested. Especially weird since she's always been a hangry baby.

So glad to hear my baby isn't the only one, I was starting to worry because she always eats for only 7 min then isn't interested. And if she eats bottle she'll eat anywhere between 1-3 oz before she stops. I didn't know this was a thing I'm a lil relieved now

Update....

Diya used to eat 5oz 5X per day (every 3 hours). Then she eventually starting doing 6oz 5X per day (every 3 hours).

Now she does 6oz 4X in the daytime (every 4 hours) and does a 5th feed as a dream feed around 11pm. Spreading out the feeds like this and incorporating a dream feed has really helped!

hey Amrita, when you do the dream feed, how long does she usually sleep?? I’m thinking I may have to start doing this since she does eat 6oz now and obviously every 3 hours it might be too much for her so I might have to do the same as you

@Natalia yeah i think you're right that its too much for them now
So before her bedtime was anywhere from 8.30 to 10.30. Now i put her to "bed" anywhere from 9 to 10 (following her cues) and then she'll wake up around 11 to eat after about 1 to 2 hours of sleep.

I also started giving her baths on alternate evenings to get her drowsy and kinda build a routine now that she's 6m. Its been going on like this over the last few days with success.

She had reflux and spit up as a newborn and that has also started up again. I started using oval drops again too to help settle her tummy...we're exclusively on formula here.

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
