Sleep gone rubbish…

My LB has just turned 8 months and he use to go to sleep really well, would just place him down with a dummy and some white noise on (occasionally would stroke his tummy to help). In the last week he thrashes himself around onto his front and back onto his back, arches his back to climb up the cot, screams, cries, shakes his head. I sometimes have to pin him down and do “shhhh” really loudly. It can be taking up to an hour to go to sleep even if he’s super tired. I just don’t know what to do. Is anyone else experiencing this?

My little man was doing really well since he moved into his own room, slept 7 till 7, would self sooth if he woke. In the last couple of weeks he's waking and needing us to go in. He also now wakes for a bottle at 5:30 like he used to, I feel like we're going back three steps!!

I think it's a mix of teething (his two bottom teeth are coming through) and the heat... xx

Yep exactly the same with my baby girl. I'm tearing my hair out over it as she's also hardly napping in the day now too! She's almost 8 months so I'm thinking surely too late for sleep regression but maybe as commenter above suggests it could be the heat? I hope so! If you figure it out please let me know hahah xx

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Fighting naps

Does anybody else feel like they spend all day trying to get baby to nap? I get tempted to give up as he must not be that tired but he is too cranky to play or do anything else!

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x

Any experience with different teats?

Hey Mamas

So my little girl is exclusively breastfed but she wont even take FRESHLY PUMP milk from the bottle. I had a whole 4oz that was going to waste and baby girl was just massanging her gums and smiling lol :/
Ive tried adding extra holes with a needle, the ol' switcheroo (BF first then switch ti bottle) but she's very keen and notices straight away.
Im currently using Nuby and Tommee silicone bottles, and I would like to try more softer, boob-like teats.

Id ideally like her to take a bottle so Dad can give me a REAL break yknow.

Has anyone had this same experience? Any teats one would recommend?
Thank you in advance!
