So my baby was starting to walk right before her first birthday and was becoming more and more confident and would occasionally walk longer distances with no support. On Monday she had her 12-13 month injections, all in her legs. She was in obvious discomfort for the first couple days but has seemed okay since, the only issue is that she’s no longer walking independently. She will cruise along furniture and walk holding hands but will no longer stand without holding onto anything and will not take any independent steps. Has anyone else experienced this and how can I help her get her confidence back?

Not sure it’s so much a confidence thing. The muscles can still be sore for a week or longer after jabs. 2 in each leg in such small muscles will surely make them ache. It may just be that she’s still a bit too sore to put her full weight on them so is using the furniture to help xx
