I've tried a dark room with white noise and rocking, but baby sometimes just screams and screams for what feels like forever. I sometimes have to resort to breastfeeding, even though baby has already had a full feed on both sides for about 40 mins, just to quieten him down, but then he's understandably sometimes sick afterwards.

Sometimes, running a bath and getting in and having a cuddle in there helps calm her down

Calpol - usually if our little one is crying uncontrollably / hysterically it’s because there’s some pain or discomfort he wants help with

Change location, still keeping lights elsewhere dim and not having the tv on but we move downstairs, let her look at herself in the mirror or take her in the garden and walk around for a few to get her to calm down

Put my headphones in and go look outside and talk about the grass, he usually stops screaming then. That’s after I’ve done change, pain, feed, hugs, temperature and cuddles and well burped

Run the shower, he doesn’t need to be in it, just watching it and the noise calms him
