Is my husband the only one that doesn’t like to or doesn’t know how to deal with feelings and emotions?
I’ve tried everything to get my husband to try and understand my feelings and emotions but he refuses to try to understand. I need to be able to express how I feel and what’s going on in my head and he just doesn’t want to deal with them.
Anyone know of a way I can help him understand or try to change to help me communicate with him better?

You're definitely not alone. It's a difficult subject, but lots of men grew up needing to suppress and even deny their own feelings. I would suggest some form of therapy for the both of you. Best if you do individual and couples therapy. Ultimately, he won't change or grow if he doesn't want too.
I’m already in therapy. We’ve tried couples but all he did was sit there with an attitude and point fingers. So it was a bust to begin with.
Unfortunately I know won’t change if he doesn’t want too. It just kills me that he won’t do it to help us grow as a family.

You’re definitely not alone. For feelings chats, I usually suggest trying to find one girlfriend whom you can share with and discuss emotions with freely. They understand them a lot better than men do. Most men I know often don’t try because in truth they don’t know where to start and it scares them, honestly. So, they brick wall it by “not caring” about it.
In communication with men, it is often best to do it in SHORT, BULLET-POINT fashion. Limit what you talk about each time and just hit the clear highlights. Otherwise, they will be overwhelmed and unable to handle it. It’s frustrating learning how to communicate like that for us, but if it helps, it is worth it. :)
