Items to buy

I want to start getting things in, but not sure where to start. What items have you all bought and would recommend?

To start with, I've just got one bowl & a pack of the tommee tippee spoons. Then I got plain & banana porridge, as well as a selection of the pouches of purée.

We have bought the high chair, 2 bamboo suction plates
Silicon set
And wearing bibs

I think we need the nutribullet blender for babies
Not sure how we are going to steam the vegetables any recommendations

Suction bowls are a god send, my first was a nightmare for grabbing the bowl and tipping it over, also don't spend loads on a food blender if you plan on getting one, I bought a mini one for £15 which did the perfect amount of food, once they start using hands to eat I'd suggest the plastic Bibs with the arms so kind of like an apron, stops the sleeves of clothes getting dirty, and for starting I'd suggest plenty of Bibs as Muslins won't cut it anymore 🤣

@Idah can boil vegetables or steam them, I find boiled veg purees better with less chunks for when first starting ❤️

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
