This might seem a silly question but is it normal to feel so much movement this early on in 1st pregnancy?? I started feeling flutters about 18 weeks and proper kicks about 20 weeks. Last night it was so different, he felt really active from about 10pm until 12pm I couldn’t sleep as the kicks were so constant and so active compared to nights before. He always wakes up at 10:15 pm but it’s normally calm by about 11 but last night was crazy. Surely there’s no such thing as too much movement? He’s moving about again now and movements fee quite strong at 8am, so hoping nothing is wrong - I wonder if he’s just getting stronger. Is anyone else finding they are feeling very strong movement at this stage too? I’m quite slim was only 8.5 stone before I got pregnant and short at only 5,3, so I wonder if I feel more because of that.

I have a lot of movement, I was getting kicks quite early on and they've got a lot stronger recently, I'm 23 weeks tomorrow, I think we just have very active babies, I've not been told it's anything to worry about 😊 x

I was also getting movement from about 17 weeks and felt him consistently since 20 weeks, he's very active everyday now and growing fine, I don't think its anything to worry about x

At this stage they still don't have a pattern so no need to be concerned is what I'm told but in future when they do have a pattern established then yes there can be such a thing as too much movement and should call up maternity assessment for that

I’ve been able to feel baby since 13 weeks, my partner felt him around 18 weeks and now at 20 weeks he’s constantly jumping around! I can see him moving around xx

Hiya I started feeling flutters around 17weeks and proper kicks by 20 it’s completely normal

My baby has been more active since last night, he won't stop kicking, even now 🤣🤣 he's all over the place. Am 22+4 and I only started feeling him this much since yesterday .I have an anterior placenta so I'll say am lucky 😉
