Going on a flight from Sydney to Toronto in a few weeks and want all the tips you can give!! First leg is 14.5 hours and then another 4.5 hours.
So far I know to give a bottle on the way up and down and I have little goodie bags to bribe the people around us and the flight attendants š
Do they give you a hard time about bottles of water for formula? Iāll be needing to bring like 8 bottles to get us through all the travel and layoverā¦Iām a bit concerned..but surely they canāt do something to prevent me from being able to feed my kid??

You can take whatever you need in terms of food, formula, water for baby and you shouldnāt run into any problems.
Good luck! š

Just did Brisbane - Rome, we had a really good flight though granted our bub is pretty cruisey. They didn't care a bit about bottles/water or formula. I took a portable bottle warmer which was amazing to not have to call someone for water. Use the baby for ALL your excuses! We got treated like VIPs even skipped the customs queue. Everything is "for the baby" haha. The bassinet is awesome but agree, let them fall asleep in your arms and use a blanket to line it, ours was a bit rough in texture. You will have to get them out in turbulence which is super annoying but ours resettled fast. Also don't bother bringing a blanket, they have loads but do bring lots of toys, I regretted not bringing something more interactive. It is a lot of hours to entertain.
Last tip, 1. You'll never see these people again, so don't stress. 2. If the people around you don't have noise cancelling headphones, shame on them. Basically don't panic if your baby cries, that's what babies do.
Good luck!

Feed babe during takeoff/landing to help with the ear pressure, their ears will pop if they are having deep sucks! Like how we adults chew gum.
