During the 4 month sleep regression my boy would only nap for 30 minutes, that lasted 8 weeks long. We finally got him to nap longer around 5-5.5 months old now heās nearly 6 months and heās back to 30 minute naps. I am at a lost here, I feel like I have tried everythingš©

Teething + learning to be more mobile = shit sleep. Just expect to never have any predictability haha its easier that way

How many naps a day right now? At 6 months you should be considering going down to two āŗļø
we had moved from 4 to 3 naps at 5 months because he was only taking the 30 minute naps & not getting enough day sleep. Should we already be moving down to 2? I feel like itās a little early?
hahaha I wish I could be like that, I just love having somewhat of a schedule but youāre probably right š

We switched at about 6 and 1/2 months. If your kid is taking short naps, that's a sure sign they're ready for some more awake time during the day. You could start by just adding 15 to 30 minutes before each nap. We just jumped right in
I will have to try and add a little bit of time, he just gets so fussy by the end of his wake window sometimes!

This is a big jump! The 3-2 naps and the 1-0 naps are supposedly the hardest transitions. It can take around 4-6 weeks for them to really catch on to the new schedule. š±
As long as your kiddo is about 25 weeks (based on due date) it's totally ok to go to 2 naps.
