Has anyone else had this issue? He causes a scene every time I put him in his seat as he wants to sit in the front (I let him sit and pretend to drive etc at home) but now it’s got to the point he’s somehow getting his arms out of his straps, I can’t get them any tighter and have no idea how he’s doing it but it’s very worrying and makes every journey stressful! He’s even managed to undo the clip once luckily my friend was sat in the back with him 🥺😭😭

My little boy did this once and occasionally tries it. I still have a rear view mirror up so when I see him trying to put his arms through I try distracting him by singing a song with actions to try encourage him to put his hands on his head etc, that appears to be working 🤞

My 4yr old was an escape artist at just turned 2 she could undo the buckle on all 4 harnessed car seats i owned 🤦♀️ I went to a car seat shop she could get out of every style they had, I visited the in car safety centre they have one near me in Essex they also have another one in the U.K. not sure where but I bought a buckle cover it was a bit fiddly to fit to start with but it stoped her undoing the buckle for the straps I got a chest clip on Amazon for around £10 as long as it’s fitted across where the child’s nipples would be its as safe as it can be with out being safety tested, don’t bother with the anti escape jacket type things you can buy mine could still escape them 🤣

Yes my LG does it often it's scary as she's rear facing and I don't most of the time until the journey has ended x
