2 weeks old fights naps (day)
Anyone else finding their breastfed baby hard to settle in the day?
My little one absolutely hates napping during the day and will fight it. He’ll go 3-5 hours sometimes between naps.
He’ll feed and cry, is hard to burp and then needs to be bounced or nursed laying down. It’s a hours long process then repeats. We’ve tried infacol with limited luck
He sleeps well at night. He grunts every 3 hours and I’ll dream feed him. It’s just the day we struggle to even leave the flat bc he’s screaming

Hey no help but same !! some days I do get lucky with the odd sleepy afternoon but most days are similar to how you explain and sleepy nights but last night he fussed and was super hot from 2am onwards xx
Have you tried taking him for walks in the pram? Even tho mine might scream for the first few minutes he eventually falls asleep on the walk (95% of the time) and then I feel better that at least he's had that one good daytime nap. Usually after getting back home he stays asleep for a while after as well.
yep we try in the mornings since it’s so hot he’ll whimper for about 30-45 min then will fill out cry and I go back inside.
My sister said that her babies started to calm a bit more than nee they hit 10 lbs hoping the same for our little guy
