Painful breast feeding

I have similar pain from the nipple all the way to the back but when i pump. I asked gp and lactation consultant and they did not know exactly what it was but they said must the nerves. If you have this pain is bcz the baby is not latching properly as i was using the wrong flange. Hope this helps xx

If it’s just at the start this is probably your let down ( the moment your milk starts ) some women find it painful for a few seconds x
