Please tell me this is a phase - 10weeks tomorrow

So my little boy had his jabs 10 days ago and since has just become a completely different baby. I was always able to soothe him by changing his position but since the jabs it feels like he’s cried all day every day with a few mins let up here and there. He’s sleeping and feeding fine still which is stopping me going insane but during the day he’s constantly grizzling and crying unless I’m walking around with him upright. If I try to sit him down he just cries and straightens his body up. I’ve tried tummy time but he hates that too and It’s stopping me being able to play with him as he’s just unhappy. I went to the GP who said it’s possibly reflux or a reaction to the rotavirus and his tummy is sore, but he’s not vomiting so I think it’s more likely trapped wind/gassy than reflux. But if I try to do bicycle legs he stiffens his legs so I can’t bend them! I wake up every day hoping he’s back to the happy smiley baby he was becoming but I’m starting to lose hope. Granted the heat won’t have helped at all but i don’t want to go anywhere or do anything with him as I just don’t know how to stop him crying anymore. I’ve tried infacol and dentinox which I haven’t seen any change from and the GP prescribed Mezzopram for the reflux which I’ve not started yet as the leaflet says not for babies under 1 or 10kg so I’m not sure about it considering it’s not 100% reflux! Can anyone share any similar stories or tips?

Could be leap 3, my little boy was so grumpy between 10 and 11 weeks and I couldn't put him down at all. Then he had a really good night sleep and all of a sudden was back to normal!

Mines been so fussy since her jabs on Wednesday, she will only be held chest to chest upright and any other positions she kicks off, she’s barely eating and crying what feels like all the time!!
I went back to the GP also lol, they said some babies have a longer or more delayed reaction to the jabs. I was the same as you felt as though we were turning a corner into a happy content baby and not so much now I’m dreading the next set!! Could you ask for omeprazole instead for reflux as that’s what they gave me?

Same thing happened to my boy after his jabs - I didn’t think his unhappiness was supposed to last so long, but 2 weeks later he’s back to his happy smiley self 😊 It might not be related to the jabs but it did start a few days after. It will get better! X

the Mezzopram is a brand of omeprazole I think. Did you find this worked for you?

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
