My son is almost 2 weeks old and has been STRUGGLING with gas. Usually every diaper change has poop so I’m not sure if he’s not getting it all out or what but he’s very uncomfortable. I got gas drops and been massaging his belly and back and it’s helping him out but not sure if there’s anything else I can do to help him out. He’s fully breastfed and I just started giving him one bottle a day(bm) to get him used to it about 2 days ago. Any tips??

Monitor what you’re feeding your baby as I was eating broccoli and my baby has the worst gas one night. Also I recommend does zarbes probiotics as they are immune support and also stomach control
gripe water supposedly also works but I’ve never tried it

I am also exclusively pumping in between a bottle feeding stop halfway and burp, the more burping the better the baby will be with the gas I’ve noticed

I would mainly monitor what you are eating. I know most of my friends that breast feed have had to cut out all items like broccoli, cabbage, onions, etc.

My little boy is super gassy and we've found moving his hips really helps ease his discomfort and germts things moving downwards and that has helped with burping too. We do bicycle legs and move his hips around either in arms or when lying on his back. There are some good videos on YouTube

I literally had broccoli a few days ago and he was in his worst discomfort he has been yet. I never knew that thank you! I’m definitely trying the probiotics and gripe water
