Am I just being dramatic?

I am currently so angry 😡 so I am almost 33 weeks pregnant and just mowed my yard bc my husband won’t get up to do it. It’s like this with everything. My doctor had told me I need to be super careful. They wanted to put me on bed rest but that’s not plausible as I have a 1.5 yr old and have to be able to do what she needs. My husband has been on short term disability from work since may so he doesn’t do anything all day it’s video games and sleep and then dragging us out of the house to do what he wants. Last night we spent the night in the er and he was told he had a kidney stone so now he’s refusing to get up off the couch. I struggle to keep up with my toddler and my house in general so I was excited that he would be home to help me during my pregnancy. He does ABSOLUTELY nothing and once I fianally have a break down yelling and crying he will do half a load of dishes and complain about his back pain. I’m so upset that I’m trying to do everything while he sits and does nothing or naps bc he’s so tired. I’m seriously debating leaving him and letting him figure it out by himself.

It can definitely be frustrating doing everything alone especially if they’re in the household and not helping. It shouldn’t take yelling for you get across to him especially if your pregnancy is fragile. Leave him a list and show him yours . Tell him your both in pain so for him to help and if he refuses tell him you need space from the housework and help with the baby so you’re going to families house where you’d get the help he doesn’t give you

Ugh I feel rhis completely. I mowed our yard 2 days before going into labor at 41 weeks and 4 days.. and then mowed again a week postpartum. It's so damn irritating.

I think it’s more of the fact that he’s not doing anything he’s not working or anything right now so I’m frustrated that I’m getting zero help he helped more when he worked

With kidney stones it is encouraged to be up and walk which can help pass the stone .. there’s no excuse for him not to help out .

If you don't fix that now, it will never get fixed. Once you're two kids in you will never have time for anything but your kids so you HAVE to make it a priority to figure out the partner situation. Give him a list of things that need to get done everyday and that you will only be doing half of them so he needs to do the other half. Tell him you and your unborn child are more important than his back pain. Hold him accountable and don't cave when he doesn't do his share. If you're in the US I believe you can start SDI at 36 weeks pregnant. So he is not allowed to give you any excuse about being on disability.

Honestly, my ex husband was like this. It was a reason (among many) that I left him. It’s easier to just do it myself than expect him to help and be disappointed over and over again. I even had to make our babies room up, paint the walls, make the crib. Everything. I feel you. Life is better without that extra useless weight.

He has no respect for anything to do with me.

Husband and I decided to separate 3 days ago. I've been sleeping on the floor in the kids room, and we both have to stay in the same apartment for a while. He wont stop pushing little things and I am reaching my limit. Photos in comments

Toddlers

How often are your toddlers asking for food? My oldest who is 3 just finished a whole plate of food and not even 10 minutes later he’s requesting more food. I know he’s going through a growth spurt, but how do you respond to this.

Is this normal?

Is it just my husband that does this? He is able to work from home via his computer and in the mornings and evenings he is on there doing his job. When he is done for the day he tends to stay in the room and either play video games or watch something. He will occasionally come out and play with the girls for a few minutes and that’s it but when I really need him he says he is busy. My daughters are both 1 year old now and I am just wondering how much involvement should he have with them now?
Idk if this is the norm or not…..

Saying NO to buying toys etc

5 year old is getting really envious of others. He is obsessed with items that other kids have at school. I am pestered daily to buy these things in a different style when we already have 3 others. I have seen parents just buying stuff their kid likes which I don't necessarily agree with even when i can afford it. How do you deal with it?

Identity crisis?

Am I the only sahm who feels like they have lost their identity??? I don’t make money for my family, when I used to make great money. But I refuse to drop my under a year old baby off with strangers.
My husband works so much. But I have no control over bringing in money and I’m a control freak type of person! I feel l like I’m losing my grip because we are kind of broke, but day care would only eat up my income anyways! So what’s the point. I’m a workaholic and now I’m just a twitching bum.
I wish I could work from home but so far that’s a fake dream. I’m almost 9 months pp, and I just need to know these awful mood swings and depression will end soon! Send wine!
