This is going to sound so stupid but I'm in a panic π I've got a spider repellent spray (which is made from peppermint oil) at home and when I changed my 5 week old baby's Nappy just now I noticed there was a big spider in our hallway. I've a huge fear of them and worried about it coming into my room so I got the spray and sprayed it all in the doorway and some around the skirting boards of my room.
I then realised the smell was very very strong. I then googled and found that peppermint oil is dangerous for babies and can cause breathing difficulties / seizures.
Although I hadn't applied it directly to his skin and he hadn't inhaled it directly from the source do you think it could have been enough to affect him?
After 5 mins of being in the room I've now brought him downstairs to sleep in his moses basket instead. He's kicking around and smiling lots, but worried I've done damage?

You should be fine honestly π just try to air out the rooms that you've sprayed and keep him away until the smell goes
