A change in LO since nursery

Hi, has anyone noticed a change in their LO since going to nursery. My little boy hardly wants to nap now, only wants mummy (daddy doesn’t get a look in) and has even gone off their food which they used to be amazing with. Hoping it’s just a phase because of all the change but wanted to see if anyone else is going through this?

With the food, our LO stopped eating at home and would just cry when we put food in front of her, we've finally worked out that she uses a fork at nursery and this was the issue. She now finally eats everything on her plate as long as she can use her fork (yes this includes things like toast 😂), is there something he maybe does at nursery that you aren't doing at home and he's getting frustrated?

He’s not eating at nursery either unless they give him toast, rice cakes etc, he won’t eat the main meal made for him.

Yes! My little girl refuses to eat and drink at childcare. She apparently cries all the time and when I pick her up (usually early because she’s not drinking water!) she’s then very grumpy with me and tearful the rest of the day. After a day or so “off” childcare she goes back to her old self…. with the exception that she is now even more clingy to me ALL the time. People she would normally let hold her or look after her, she now screams when they do it and tries to climb up me to get away from them :(

Yep same. She went on food strike at nursery when she first started, and that’s now continued into our daily lives! She’s super fussy, used to eat everything. And is SO clingy to me. But tbh she always has been, it’s just intensified. But not sure that’s linked to nursery or not?

Hi everyone, I’ve just seen this post as I was searching for this as my son is currently going through the same… did things improve for you all?

Hi, my little boy has gone back to ‘normal’ and is much more settled now thankfully so i would say it’s definitely a phase x

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
