I wish I could keep my little one with us forever, but my other half said he's being evicted at 6 months 🤣

We're looking at around 7 months, but really depends on how he sleeps in the weeks before. We would try at 6 months, but my husband is taking over my maternity leave at 6 months and we didn't want to overload little one with too much change at once 😊

Both my kids went just before 3m

Mine went last week, we kept disturbing him moving around and now he sleeps perfectly

that’s what I’m thinking. He’s 5 and a half months. I’ve started doing his room out as was a dumping ground when I moved, but thinking he’ll settle more in his own room x

did you do a straight swap or slowly ease into it? My daughter naps on me (if she naps) during the day but I’m thinking of putting her in her room in the cot for her to start getting used to it? She’s in our room in a next to me atm

straight swap! Mine naps on me too but swapped him overnight and he slept perfectly in it!

Mine went in on Friday. Did naps in the day and then bedtime in there. It took her a day to get used to having all the space in the cot unlike the next 2 me.
It's much better for her as we aren't disturbing her coming to bed or our stirring /snoring in the night .
It's also better for us as her active sleep disturbs us and when she was walking during the regression , it meant we were also waking and listening.
She was rolling onto tummy and then getting stuck when she rolled back onto her back and didn't want to be x
