Hows many words?

He just learned to wave and told me “bye bye mama” from across the room lol other than that he only says dada, baba, and hey. Also sounds like he tells the dog to “get go” all the time 😂
He prefers doing hand motions to songs over actually talking.

We are saying mamma and dadda. Sign language is taking off for her right now. She can sign milk, mamma, diaper, and eat with the right context and understands other words.

My girl can say mama, dada, yes, no, her version of cheese (essse), and stinky

Nothing lol. My daughter didn’t talk until almost 2 and I think he’s gonna follow in her footsteps 🤷🏽‍♀️ he actually does say mama and stinky but he doesn’t want to repeat it if you ask him😂 and he used to say dada and baba but hasn’t for a while. And he shakes his head no but doesn’t say it

MaMa, dada, mom, daddy, doggy, dog, go, ya, no, agua, grandpa, bye, hi, vaca (cow), tata (auntie) and what sounds like “good girl” to the dogs, she also is trying to say “avión” (spanish for airplane)

Mama, (dada, dad, daddy) just started shouting mam when she wants my attention. Head, duck, dogs, hi, cow moo, more, stop, good, hat, shoes and dodo (pacifier). She asks ‘where’s dada’ all day when he’s at work 🥹She also shakes her head for no and signs more and all done. She babbles a lot and ‘talks’ all day, she gets so frustrated when I don’t understand what she’s asking for or telling me

She’s only saying mamma and dads right now but she signs more and want. She also just started pointing. ♥️ she calls her bear baba but I don’t really count that 🧸💕

She can say mama dada cat kitty yea. Those are the only ones she can say with meaning and more than once. She has said happy, blue, whoo but only once. She will also say mommy daddy dad a mum.

What have you moms done or used to get them talking?

just a lot of talking- narrating everything and having conversation with her directly all throughout the day. We also read books constantly. With that said- my daughter still just nods or shakes her head more than anything so im no expert...but she says hi, mama, bye bye, light, ball, baby/babies, uh oh, that, milk, upstairs.

To her credit, she can point to more than 5 parts of her body when asked, and most farm animals/pet photos in books.

She can give a hug or blow a kiss when asked, and understands everyday requests like "do you want to eat?" "Can you take this to the trash?" "Do you want to brush your teeth?" "Are you ready for a bath?" "Put it in the sink" "Let's wash your hands" "Clap your hands" "Want to take the dog for a walk?" "Let's put on some shoes" "May I have some?" and she knows what it means when someone asks for a high five or to cheers lol.
