Nursery problem !!!

I'm sorry you're both suffering :( it's so hard to see them upset.

What do the staff say he's like after you've left? A lot of kids are awful up to the moment their parent leaves, then feel a lot better with distraction after. My boy has cried almost every time I've dropped him off for almost 18 months! But is happy as Larry 30 seconds after 🙄

I'd ask the nursery whether they're able to support him with a key worker he really likes/can attach to, lots and lots of cuddles especially when he first arrives. Does he have a lovey/favourite toy he can bring with him? Could you get him stories about going to nursery to help explain?

I think it might be an age thing, my daughter has been at nursery since she was 1 & never cried once until the last few weeks following the summer break, now she’s the same she’s in bits when I leave her but fine when we collect her. She’s also hard to put down at night as says she wants to sleep with me too.
