Newborn not sleeping in cot

Any ideas now to get newborn to sleep in their cot? Been up 4 hours now trying to get her to sleep, she’s 14 days old.

My toddler will wake up soon and I’ve not slept at all 🤡

She sleeps in her cot for all naps during the day without issue just not at night time

Have you tried warming the mattress slightly with a hot water bottle? (Obviously removing before you put baby in and checking it’s not left the space too hot)
Putting a muslin or T-shirt over the sheet that smells like you?
Are you putting her down in a deep sleep?
Tried swaddling?

Can you get a next to me so you can put a hand out to reassure her?

It's very normal for newborns not to want to sleep alone - look up 4th trimester - the easiest way for everyone to get more sleep is to bring her into bed with you. Appreciate not everyone feels comfortable with cosleeping, but if you follow safe sleep 7 it can be as safe as a cot! It honestly saved my sanity as my son was an awful sleeper. Best of luck x

we actually do have a next to me crib but I haven’t unzipped it so maybe I’ll unzip it for tonight and see if that’s helps - I was up until 5:30am with her this morning and my toddler woke up at 6am so not ideal!! X

8 week old in sleeping bag for first time as big enough! Do you feed your child in the night whilst in the sleeping bag or taken them out, feed then transfer back to sleeping bag before putting down?

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
