Signs of labour

Hey girls, bit of an odd one considering this is actually baby number 2 BUT with being induced at 37 weeks (and baby girl arriving 2 hours after starting the induction) with my first I kinda feel a little in the dark about what to expect in terms of smaller signs of impending labour🫣 Obviously contractions, waters going etc are the ones we all know but are there any other smaller signs that could possibly mean labour is just around the corner?

I’ve since this morning had some pelvic pressure and it just got me wondering what I could be looking out for!x

I found with my first baby there was more pelvic pressure and i also felt like i needed to poop then it all started kicking off right into labour x

Oh i get that absolutely 🤣 x

So for me I had a real need to finish the ironing (hate ironing) and to clear out the last room of the house that needed doing, then had very frequent lighting crotch that turned into contractions then my water broke and the contractions were still frequent and close together then went to hospital and had baby a few hours later was all very quick for me

With my first I had a ‘clear out’ basically all the faeces in my body decided to allllll come out before and whilst I was in labour 🤣🤣🤣

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
