Pain in vaginal area?

I have such a weird and sometimes horrible pain coming from my pelvic/vaginal area! Like my vagina is going to fall out or something. It’s the weirdest thing! It is soooooo uncomfortable especially when getting up from lying down or sitting. When I’m not moving it’s fine but when I’m constantly up down up down then it is extremely noticeable!

No noticeable signs of anything else labor related. No mucus plug, sometimes Braxton hicks but those don’t last long and definitely no bloody show.

Anyone else? TIA
I’m 34 and 5

Omg yes. It’s intense! I’m 34 and 6 and have been experiencing this or a bit. Makes all the bathroom trips during the night real fun

it’s so difficult! I constantly feel like I have to pee but there’s barely anything the comes out if I were to go every-time I feel that. I’m fine when I am mobile but if I sit or lay down, which is often, then the thought of getting up just makes me wanna cry sometimes

Definitely happens to me too, not fun at all. 💜

I think its PGP, Pelvic Girdle Pain? I’m also experiencing it, but luckily I’m usually able to walk it off, but until my pelvic bone and hip stabilize it can be very uncomfortable.

Things that help:

Move legs in synchrony keeping your knees together when standing up, moving from bed, getting out of the car… put both feet on the ground to support standing up, and sit down to change clothes etc. That way you’re not overworking one side and causing more discomfort on the other…

Wearing a belly belt helps to relieve the weight from the pelvic bone. And if it gets too uncomfortable no matter what you do, I’ve read it’s treatable with PT.

Good luck to us!

pretty sure it's pelvic girdle pain. 36w it's become unbearable and left me in tears at some points. i often cant even stand up without assistance and it's extremely sore to the touch as well. ive started wearing a belly belt, though i think i waited too long and it got too bad before i could save myself 😩 i find that stretching helps temporarily at least, sitting on the edge of the couch and spreading my legs as far as i can with my knees turned out so i can feel it in my inner thigh. i also sleep with 3 pillows between my thighs now lol it feels wonderful until i have to turn over or get up but it does help slightly

Yes! My coworkers call it lightning crotch. It’s where she sits on a nerve and it sends a shooting pain down into your vagina. It will stop you dead in your tracks sometimes! But I had that too sometimes and I guess it’s totally normal!

Yesss 34 weeks 6 days my crotch hurt so bad when I walk period or get out the bed turning over in bed or almost any movements smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ it’s so bad

I believe lightning crotch is a different kind of pain! Just like what you described, it feels like a strike of lightning into your vagina - ouch and ugh.

I’ve had both for the past couple of weeks… PGP is a bit different. You can actually recognize it by shifting the weight from one leg to the other… some days standing on my right leg hurts a ton, other days the left side is worse… while lightning crotch is unpredictable and just a super sharp pain, gone within second (but sometimes repetitive)…

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
