9 month health visitor check

We have just had ours. She was just over 9 months. I think they aim it more towards 9 months so that if they need to follow up on developmental stuff they have a few months to do so. Because the next check after that is now 27 months. But it must depend where you are as well, and how busy they are. We got a letter first then a call a few weeks later ours was done over the phone and I just took her in to the drop in clinic for weight and a height check a few days later

I was gonna say I’m sure it’s a 9-12 month check which is a big window to have really 🫣 I’ve heard nothing but we do get letters through reminding us so I’m expecting it soon

I’ve not had mine yet but was told by the health visitor today when we went to get his weight checked I’d get a letter with an appointment soon. My sister’s little girl has only just had hers and she’s 11 months. Think it’s anywhere between 9-12 months x

My son is 9 months exactly today. I had a call a few weeks ago and she booked us in for the end of this month. I’ve not seen the HV since he was 7 weeks old!

So strange how it varies! There’s such huge milestones within 9 and 12 months 🙈 I asked the lady on the phone if I can book it earlier or get a general weight check and she more or less said no! And omg which area are you from? Because that’s annoying! Our last one was at 3 months x

I was told it was a 9-12m check and that for us it would likely be closer to the 12m mark :( not sure why

They told us 9-12 month as well. We will be 9 month this Sunday but didn’t hear anything yet. And we saw our HV last time also around 8-9 weeks

We were told 9-12 months so I’ll probably give it a while before I chase it up and wait to see if they contact us. I’ve heard some people having it at 9 months, some 10 and some 11, 12. Probably just depending on their case load

I received a letter 2 weeks ago that they made an appointment on the 10th of October for her check.. She is gonna be 10 month by that time..

It depends on where you live and how big their list is. The questionnaire is up to 13months so if the check up falls after your LO is 13months old then you will get a different questionnaire for up to 16months old. My LO was just over 13 months when he had his check

I no longer have a named health visitor so have no idea when or if we would here about the check 🤷🏻

My hv is coming out on Monday for the 9 month check. With my first they only came out for 3 months lol
