Pacifiers

My 1 month old won’t take a pacifier at all. But he needs something to soothe him other than his bottle. Any suggestions on what to do or what pacifier I should use?

I met with my ibclc today and my LO is having the same deal(though breastfed). She said to wait a couple weeks then try to reintroduce the paci. Also she said to get one that's most similar to the nipple you're using

Mam pacifiers for the win! We had a bunch of free ones from different sample kits and he definitely has preferences!

my baby has all the different types of pacifier & the only one he takes is the one from the dollar store that we received as a gift 😂 just try them all you will know when they love it it’s a game changer !

Tommee tippee are the only ones my daughter likes. I've bought so many different brands

Bibs pacifiers have been my baby’s favorite from the beginning, and a pediatric dentist told us all babies love them

I tried Nuk, even tho it says “99% babies will take it” mine was one of the 1% that didnt 😂😂😂 so what I did was get tommee tippee pacifiers for my 1M, I started off with a few days letting baby feel the pacifier in the skin just like BF because I am EBF, I waited 3-4 weeks and until we had a nursing routine as well before the pacifier but ur baby is bottle fed so there’s no problem. Just gotta be patient because it took me weeks before she acc took it and still pulls it out sometimes but to make a baby get used to it will take time and patient and see which one they like. Start by introducing it at night time then slowly at nap time too x

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
