I had one with my last pregnancy last year and we weren’t given any pictures 😩

I had one in 2018 and wasn’t given any pictures but it was a bad outcome for us. I also had to wait almost 3 hours with a full bladder for my appointment

They asked me if I wanted one but this was over 10 years ago when it was in the old portacabin. If you want one regardless of outcome you've got nothing to lose by asking for one.

I had to have an emergency scan there when I fell I was 8 weeks and 3 days I think. There’s a sign on the wall that says they don’t give pictures to people less than 8 weeks. I got a scan picture as I was only just over xxxxx

I’ve just been and apparently I’m 8w4d! I didn’t even think to read any signs but I didn’t ask because they were SO busy so I felt bad 🙈😂 xx

It’s a really busy unit isn’t it!!! I’ve always found them so lovely and pleasant even though they are busy too. Can’t complain about them one bit - I’ve found pinderfields triage/early pregnancy unit so supportive and reassuring throughout! He’s 36 weeks now and can’t believe he was so tiny 🥹 congratulations xxxxx

I had one at 6 weeks and was given a picture. They arent meant to and I think it depends who you see. She did ask that we put it away due to it being a sensitive unit as some people may not have the best outcome upon their visit 😔

they’re fab aren’t they! I was there a lot with my first as he was suspected ectopic and couldn’t fault them at all, it was the actual labour & birth that let them down for me which is why I’ll be birthing at LGI but I know lots of people with good experiences so I’m sure you’ll have a great birth experience! ☺️ xxx

ah yes completely get that!! I couldn’t imagine being one of the unfortunate ones and having other people around so happy with their pictures 🥺

I had a scan at 8 weeks due to been rushed to hospital with heavy bleeding. I got a picture but was told to hide it away as all the mums sat waiting might have not been getting good news about there little ones which I completely understand.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet driving them mad?? It goes off 5/6 times night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off! Anyone had similar issues?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
