How does it work with their naps? My LO starts nursery in a few weeks and at the moment has an hour and half in morning and another hour and a half in the afternoon. Will they let them sleep for so long? And does your LO tend to nap the same at nursery as they did back home? Worried he won’t go to sleep there 😅

I was worried about the same thing but the first settling in session he did, he went to pick him up and he was asleep on a cushion on the floor 😂 they follow your babies lead and tired cues ☺️

For the first few days my LG napped really badly at nursery - two short 30 minute naps so it was a super early bedtime when we got her home. Think she had FOMO. Now, she naps better at nursery than she does at home - self settles and doesn’t need rocking to sleep! xx

My daughter has a really good routine at nursery and they follow her lead. Sometimes she naps well sometimes she doesn’t. She’s a light sleeper so I was expecting that but they follow her lead

My LG doesn’t go to nursery she goes to a childminder but she actually sleeps better for her 🙃😂 at first she wasn’t sleeping much at all, think it was a 2/3 week adjustment period then she started doing 1.5/2 hours in morning and atleast another half hour in afternoon

First couple of weeks were bad. He napped but not well 30-60 minutes which I know sounds good but he can nap nearly three hours at home so it wasn’t great for him. His wake windows were 6/7 hours because he just didn’t want to miss out.
This week he went 8 and a half hours and likely fell asleep due to exhaustion. They asked me again what I did at home, which was told to them multiple times. The tried it yesterday and he actually napped both times.
The bad thing with my LB is he doesn’t show tired cues until he’s passed tired. I have to go on wake window length. Which was told they just didn’t try because he didn’t show cues. Now I’ll be telling them every day he’s in what times his naps need to be
