How much formula does your baby eat?

Hi! I recently started my baby on formula and we started slowly with 150-160ml. He was clearly more hungry so we started following the guidelines of how much he can drink at this stage (210ml) and he drinks the whole bottle! He feeds every 2-3 hours. Is this normal? He seems content and happy and does not spit up a lot or anything.

Your slowly is my baby’s max 😂 he’s 4 months tomorrow and drinks about 120-160ml every two hours or so. I think this will vary alot across different percentiles our babies are in 😊

I've just bought the ready made aptamil bottles and he drinks those when we are out and about 😊🙈

Ah that's true! He just seems more hungry all the time and I was quite shocked by how much he eats 🤣

My little girl is 4 months 1 week and she has 6 onz every 3 hours in the daytime, 5/6 feeds over the 24 hour period as she sleeps pretty well (touch wood).. One maybe two of the feeds she might leave 2 onz behind x

My 4 month old drinks anywhere between 4-6oz every 4 hours. Sometimes he will give hunger cues after about 3.5 hours but will only drink max 3/4oz if he doesn’t go the full 4 hours

Ah this definetly makes me worried as he has around 7 oz sometimes...

My "little" girl is on 3x 7oz bottles a day & 2x 6oz bottles a day. When she has the 6oz ones, she also has tastes of food. Before we started giving her food to try, she was on 5x 7oz a day & still screaming for more x

My baby is 4months old and has 180 mls 5 times a day every 3 hours or after every nap and sleeps from 9pm at latest through till 7am in morning. X

My little boy has just increased to 8oz, and he has his feeds every 4hrs. But sleeps all through the night. He was 9Ib 14oz when he was born, so he's always had a healthy appetite x

My girl has 8oz every 3-4hrs through the day but sleeps 12hrs at night so only has 4 bottles in the day so she has 32oz in 24hr period

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Bedtime

What time are you getting your LOs down for the night now and how are you finding bedtime? We’ve had the sane routine since my daughter was a few weeks old - bath with her older sister and 6.45, followed by a bottle and ideally in bed by 7.30. This worked at first but over the last few weeks she’s been fighting it a lot and, with the exception of a few days last week which were a lot easier, it’s a bit of a battle to get her down and features a lot of screaming and resettling. Not sure if we are putting her down too early or late? Her last nap is usually a cat nap (30-45 mins) and finishes by 6. She’s pretty good at settling herself from a night feed, but seems to be unable to do it at bedtime, even with her dummy.
