Hi All,
Been told my placenta is on the back so I should be feeling movements (this was at my 17 week scan) however I’m 20 weeks this week and have not felt a thing.
Is this normal?

I'd say so, I didn't know I was feeling movements until about 22 weeks and as long as you feel movement by 24w then it's not a cause for concern

I only started feeling them around 21-22 weeks. I was told at my 20 weeks scan that it is 50/50 at this point in terms of women feeling it vs not

Try not to stress. My daughter was my third and only one with a prosterior placenta. I still didn't feel her until 22 weeks. 25 and 21 with my first and second x
All depends on baby's position too x

I’m the same as you, 20+4 and I have no movements yet xx

I’m also 20weeks today and have felt no movements and also been feeling nervous about it ⛴️ x

It's more likely you don't notice. You could have a baby that moved when you move and it's a very faint feeling to begin with. Try sitting down and having cold water, or something sugary. That normally gets them moving but if you still can't feel anything it's still not a worry x

Almost 21 weeks here, I could feel what I would call flutters. Not very obvious. Just bought a fetal doppler and have no problem identifying baby heartbeat which makes me so happy. I also used it to check my own heartbeat and I can confirm that it really works 😆
