Toddler poo frequency

How many times per day does your toddler poo? Sorry a bit tmi but I was under the impression that as they got older they might slow down to maybe 1-2 times per day. My little boy still goes on average 4-5 times per day and sometimes up to 8 times per day. He does eat lots of fruit which I think sometimes can make him a bit loose but is this normal? I go through nappies and wipes still like no ones business and always have to have a couple of changes of clothes with me because he still leaks through if I don’t change him quickly enough whilst we’re out. I suppose I should consider myself lucky that he has never been constipated, but being 30 weeks pregnant now I’m wondering with the new baby if I’ll have any time to do anything other than changing pooey nappies😂 also a little worried when it comes to potty training because he is so frequent that it will be harder/ there will be lots of accidents whilst out.

Twice like clockwork 🤷🏼‍♀️
Sorry I should throw in that my son also eats a lot of fruit. Like a lot lol

My little boy normally goes about 3 times a day - like yours he eats a lot of fruit. Maybe just raise it with your GP if you’re concerned?

Once a day. Sounds like he could have an allergy to something if it’s loose poo that many times a day. Have you tried to cut back on dairy and see if it improves? You can get dairy free yoghurts and use oat milk instead x

My son frequently pooped and was not always solid, it fluctuated which I believe was from having too much fruit. Also cut back on dairy. He does not seem to have an intolerance to dairy. Doing this helped solidified his stool which made potty training much easier and will go 1-2 times a day

1 and sometimes she skips a day

My son also goes anywhere from 2-6/7 times a day. Please don't worry when I say this as he was born with a birth defect and had 3 lots of surgery. He has lots of fruit and veg now to keep him regular but the pooey nappies are a lot sometimes! I am also worried about potty training as I'm not sure how much of it he can control and it will be hard as he goes so frequently.
I hope your little boy is okay, perhaps just speak to the GP for some reassurance.
Also best of luck with your pregnancy! Not long to go, we have a 5 week old and definitely don't think I could handle the potty training right now 🤦‍♀️ xx

Thanks all, an allergy had crossed my mind although he shows no other signs and I wouldn’t even know where to start with identifying what it could be. Maybe a trip to GP to see what they say x

As others have said, we think our son has a dairy intolerance as had very runny poo / leaking nappies. Much better now we’ve largely cut it out. Will try the milk ladder to work his way back up to having most dairy

we got referred to a paed who specialises in allergies etc. My son had no allergies from the tests. And they can’t test for intolerance. But speaking with them reassured me the runny poos are a sign, as is his dad not liking too much milk, some slight skin irritation etc. Recommend speaking to someone (and someone more specialised than a GP if they’ll refer you) as it can be hard to spot what is an intolerance

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(
