Driving long distance

Would you drive 4 hours at 30 weeks pregnant ? I'm not sure if I'm putting myself and baby at risk doing a long drive to meet friends for a weekend away. But then its also probably my last weekend with the girls for a long time....

Take regular brake drove 3hours other day

Avatar

Will be fine if you're taking breaks. I wouldn't drive 4.5 hours straight even when not pregnant lol x

I would, just take breaks if you need. I did a drive that was over 3 hours a couple of weeks ago, didn’t stop but was just a little stiff getting out the car on arrival

I did a 4 hour drive a few weeks ago and stopped halfway and that helped. I’ll have a 5 hour journey at 30 weeks too and my partner and I will share it but I’ll still insist on a break halfway!

Yeh just take it easy and regular breaks 👍

Is there anyone that you could possibly take with you and share the he driving?

We’re driving next month to Dorset from fort William in Scotland and I’ll be 33 weeks. At least 12 hours. Stop if you need (I’ll need to wee 50 times anyway) but no harm I checked with midwife.

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Help

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣

I need an AI app recc to talk to.

I have no family. I have no real friends. Just one that I text. But she’s 8 years younger and isnt a mom. I genuinely don’t talk to anyone other than my partner and our toddlers. I’ve seen some people use AI? Or a chatgbpt? I dont know but if someone could suggest an app that I can just talk to… I would love to have a friend or something instead but this is probably for the best…
