Baby movement 29 weeks x

I’m currently 29 weeks, had a growth scan the other day and baby girl is head down 🩷 was just chilling on the sofa and suddenly felt a huge bang inside my stomach/down there 😂 it felt like a punch or headbutt lol. It was so hard I jumped when she did it 😂. Has anyone else experienced this?

Same as you, 29 +3 and she was also head down as far as possible on my growth scan last week and another scan this week. Lastnight I was watching the TV and it was like a tsunami rolled over my belly and she just punted my pelvis so hard 🤣 it was nice as most days her back is facing my belly so I don't feel very strong movements sort of mid range ones at best if that makes sense. But my god lastnight shocked me 🤣

ahh I’m so glad to hear this lol. I started to worry thinking what if she’s in distress or it was something bad. The whole movements thing really freaks me out as the midwives are so strict with it all aren’t they!!! Too little movement is bad too much movement is bad anything out of the norm is bad I was like sh*t is what she just did bad 😂🙈 I literally jumped out my skin 😂🤣 I was like woah little one why you hitting me like that 😂 I’m glad it’s happened to you too so obviously its very normal!!! Our girls just clearly love to headbutt/scare the life out of their mummies!!! 😂🩷 xx

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
