Has anyone else had this feeling?! I have been super connected to my pregnancy, reading all the books and information, booked into the classes, worried about how babe is doing (feeling movement late because of anterior placenta, which has been hard), and very excited to become a mother - but as I get bigger (almost 6 months) I start to have this surreal feeling sometimes of not being able to picture myself with an actual baby, like I sometimes suddenly can’t believe it’s all happening. Not in a worrying way 😂 just curious if anyone else can relate!

This happens to me and I also have realisations in the middle of the day that I actually have to give birth he won't just actually appear 😂😂
exactly that too! I was in A&E the other day for some spotting (all totally fine) but a woman came in, in full labour screaming like a banshee, just out of this world intensity, and it hit me that I was looking into the future 😂

Omg yes I can relate to this... tomorrow is my due date and its hitting me hard currently that very very soon I'll have a baby to birth and then take care of for the rest of my life. Totally not overwhelming feeling at all....
😂 nail on the head, it can be overwhelming! Congratulations on getting through the pregnancy part - wishing you a safe and speedy labour ❤️❤️❤️

Mine has been in a worrying
Way, I haven’t really felt connection to my pregnancy and literally can not picture myself with a baby at the end which worries me 😥
I’m actually in weekly group counselling sessions through my hospital at the moment, focusing on what we go through in pregnancy with a group of other pregnant women - this is definitely felt by many of the women in that group and I think you’ll find it’s not uncommon. It doesn’t take away from how incredibly difficult and overwhelming everything we go through is, but we are made for this, and I promise you that you have it in you ❤️ For me (and I know a lot of other women in the group) just voicing these thoughts and feelings is a huge help in navigating them - I highly recommend speaking to a counsellor or psychologist in particular to help work through them!

Thank you! It’s so scary isn’t it and you never hear it spoken about too much. I’m so glad You are
Getting counselling, I also just started counselling two weeks ago x
