my daughter did a few weeks ago and I was going 8 hrs away it was deff rough. kept texting my mom 🤦🏼♀️

Doing it tonight. So far he is napping right now so hopefully it goes well tonight 🤞 going to my cousin's wedding.

Nope, I don't plan to in the near future either 😬 I don't trust any of them to respect boundaries. I told my mom we would think about it at 6 months but she wants to let him sleep in the bed with her and thats not happening because we don't even cosleep, when I told her no that we don't do that, she actually said at mimis he can 😒

My babies first sleepover was very traumatic. She was two weeks old and I had to be rushed into emergency surgery. She cried the whole night and it leaves me feelings, so scared every time I leave her

My mom watched my son for the first when he was 1 month old and has has him overnight a few times since then. It goes great.
She’s also a child development specialist who works with babies and toddlers. So that’s helps.

My MIL has been watching mine overnight since she was a few weeks old, at first I was really nervous because she does things a little different or “old school” but my baby always sleeps through the night when she’s with her and is happy as can be so I’m just thankful we can get a break once in awhile

My heart won’t let me. I wish but I trust no one , not even my mom. It’s not me being selfish or anything but I’m just a little too attached right now. She’s almost 3 months

Yup! We have left our daughter a couple times overnight with my in laws and my parents. She loves it and the grandparents love it.

We slept at my MIL's once but we were there too just a few weeks ago for the first time. I was nervous about them sleeping in a new place and thought they might regress because of it but they did great! :)

My son slept at my mil house for a few hours Thursday night while I was out and dad had school. My boyfriend picked him up at 10pm he did great sleeping. Had a small fuss with her but she got him to calm down. He got shots the day before so he was probably in pain still.

Mine is this weekend, but we came with her! So much more tired but love seeing her bond with them

He hasn't been overnight outside of our house yet, but he will stay late with grandparents or the sitter. He won't go to sleep for real for anyone but me though, he keeps an eye open and will wake up every hour until I'm there which is so so sweet but damn boy go to sleep 😂

Back home and it went well. Short meltdown in the evening, but otherwise pretty good. Might have our in laws stay at our place if we need to go out of town overnight again so he's in his his own home and bed.

yay! My daughter got fussy between 7:30-8:30pm but slept through the night. I was worried about her sleeping since we just got through with a sleep regression. I definitely missed our evening cuddles

oof, same. And I woke up at 1 and 4 anyway so so much for sleeping through the night 🤷
