I can't put my baby down without him crying. Even if he's asleep, I lay him down feet first, and he immediately wakes up. He wants to be held 24/7. I can't shower. Cleaning up is out of the question. I pull out whatever I can to eat that doesn't require 2 hands or cooking.

Mine decided this week that he will only nap in my arms, if he’s awake I can sit him down for a few minutes but that’s all I get before he starts crying. Have you tried baby wearing? I got the koala babycare carrier off Amazon and he seems to be content in that, at least I have free hands to do things😅

Totally normal! I’m going through the same right now with my daughter, I actually am currently baby wearing her right now so she can nap and I can also play with my son but one thing I learned with my son is that it’s okay to let your baby cry for a little bit, go take your shower and if you can just have your baby in the bathroom with you so you have a visual of him so you can have a shower and feel somewhat refreshed. I definitely recommend baby wearing for cleaning and making yourself something to eat. Your baby is trying to adjust being outside the womb and it’ll take some time

Felt.

I has to get a carrier 😅

My baby is 5 weeks and I feel this post in the soul, life has been impossible

My baby is the same way and my son was too. They grow out of it eventually but it takes a while.

My baby the same and my oldest was the same and still is. They are both attached to my hip 24/7.

Baby wearing! My son just started letting me put him down a little bit. I have a little thing I lay him in on the floor when he's in his "happy baby" mood while I'm in the shower (he also likes the noise of the shower!)

Same here unless I lay her on her tummy. I eait about 20 mins after she fell asleep on me and then I'll put her down
All you mama's are awesome 💖
