Pushchair recommendations: Bugaboo VS Silver Cross

Hello moms and moms-to-be, We’ve been looking at pushchairs and have narrowed it down to: Bugaboo Fox 5, Bugaboo Dragonfly and the Silver Cross Dune. Just a bit of context: we live in Central London and looking for a durable pushchair, relatively light with an easy fold. If anyone has tried any of these pushchairs, can you please share your thoughts and personal experience? Thank you so much!

Haven’t tried Fox 5. We prefer Silver Cross Dune over Dragonfly (haven’t used them properly, just tried them at a shop). Silver Cross seems to be smoother and the seat seems more comfortable. But geez the price tag… anyone knows of any online shop that offers a better deal please let me know!

I’d definitely go for the dragonfly! I had the fox 2 and agree with the other comment, it’s quite bulky! Lovely pram though x

Thank you so much for all the responses- that was the first impression I had of the Fox as well, although the Dragonfly seemed too small! About the price tag- I completely agree with you. I’d recommend checking out the bundles at John Lewis- we had an appointment in their store and in addition to the bundle deal got a 15% off voucher valid for 2 month for any purchase of £1000 and above.

I have the Fox 5 and LOVE it for park walks and in the area, but I want a dragonfly for further afield so… 😅

You might not want new options! But we went for a Joolz Aer because we wanted something compact/light/easy to fold/easy to get into small spaces and we’ve been really impressed 10 weeks in!

We have the dragonfly and love how compact it is. It’s ideal if you plan to travel on the tube or buses.

Have you looked at Nuna? We got the Nuna Triv and so lightweight

A vote for the silver cross. It’s so smooth and easy to dissemble.
