Does anyone else feel frustrated that there LO won't sleep longer than 30min if laid in there crib for a nap. Just feeling a bit tired of every nap needing to be a contact one.

Yes this is our biggest challenge. I’ve found this week though if I go in and rock him back to sleep he sleeps for another hour

Ive tried laying him in our bed with pillows around. But yes i have been finding this.

Yes. And it's even more frustrating that is is normal...meaning there's not much I can do to "fix" it except wait and hope she grows out of it.
My firstborn daughter (she's now 3 years old) slept for exactly 30 minutes, maybe 40 on a good day everyday until she reached 7 months old...then she magically started sleeping longer.
Now with my second baby she has started doing that same as her sister and only sleeps catnaps, wakes up and is still tired and it's the whole darn process all over again. Apparently they can connect their sleep cycles around 6ish months so guess I'll just have to wait it out until then ...

My son also won’t take long naps in his crib so we have been doing contact naps. He has been napping on our bed and won’t fall asleep unless I’m beside him. This is better than him sleeping on my chest though. Then I try to escape when he’s asleep!

Yes!! It gets extra frustrating when so many people have told me to try to nap when he has a nap. But I physically can't when his naps are so short! He also takes a long time to settle into sleep most of the time, no matter how closely I follow wake windows or tired ques. Every once and a while he will have an hour long nap so I'm hoping eventually that will become more of the norm 🤞

Yes! This is exactly what I was thinking. My little one is sleeping on me at this exact moment. I can feel my boobs starting to sweat as I type this out.
