Anxiety about leaving my baby

So I’m almost 26 weeks pregnant and I get anxiety about people wanting to babysit and have her for any amount of time, I think I will get over it over time but this is my first baby so obviously I’m protective.
Is there anyone to speak to about this / what’s your experience when you felt it was right time to leave your baby with someone else.
My partner thinks it’s not ‘my decision’ what age I leave her with someone else but I think it is.
We’re going to London a month after she’s born and I said she’s going to come and he said we can leave her and I said I’m not leaving my one month old baby with someone while we go to London for the whole day??

Also a first time mum and feeling the same, I think its perfectly normal to feel protective over our babies and I wouldn't consider anyone looking after my baby till I'm comfortable but I'm thinking not till he's a year old or more tbh! I certainly wouldn't be leaving my month old baby with anyone even if it is just for a day xx

I get this so much! My MIL asked so when will I be getting overnights and I simply responded with “you won’t” Only leave them when you feel it’s right!! They’re such tiny little humans and they’re programmed to need us, we’re programmed to need them just as much as for your partner I’d have said if the baby’s not coming you’re welcome to go alone, dads sometimes are better at letting go a little more but that doesn’t mean you have to😘

I’m still like this now and i have a 10mo I don’t want to leave him with anyone accept his dad when I give birth again I don’t want. Anyone watching him overnight until he can verbally communicate and I tbh j that’s pretty normal x

This is totally normal! It’s absolutely your decision as to when/if you feel comfortable to leave her. Don’t ever feel pressured into any parenting decisions that make you feel uncomfortable or that go against your instincts. Your baby, your rules.

Our families are obsessed with getting me and my husband to go out for evenings and nights away, and whilst I appreciate the sentiment and intent, they just don’t seem to understand why we’re in no rush to leave him- they make me feel like I’m crazy for not wanting to be apart from My baby. I say baby, he’s 2 now 😂 but I still haven’t felt comfortable with it and won’t do it until I am and he fully understands what’s happening.
I’m getting anxiety about leaving him to give birth to his brother!!
Me and my husband have our whole lives for nights and trips away, we’ll do it when we’re ready to. I won’t be rushed!

Oh god well I feel awful because I’m looking forward to both grandmas being able to babysit and bond with my daughter. I feel like I might go slowly mad without some sort of break? I’ve seen many friend’s babies and toddlers where they are completely clingy to Mum and it seems to make life soooo difficult, so I’m determined for them to be used to and comfortable being around my trusted family members. This is all very well and good me saying this now, as I have no idea how things will be, when she arrives xx

Our daughter is 2 and I still don’t want to leave her! I went back to work part time when she was a year old and I still absolutely hate it. I’ve only had two nights away from her, my hen do and my wedding night and I couldn’t wait to get back to her both times! I’m pregnant again now and the thought of having to stay in hospital after birth(I stayed a week last time) absolutely terrifies me that I might have to leave her!

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Help

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
