Head measuring small

Anyone been told that their babies head is measuring small? I've been referred to fetal medicine but I'm not concerned myself, I'm just wondering why don't they take maternal height/weight/ethnicity into account when plotting on a centile chart, surely we would be on different charts?

Yes that happened with me around 28 weeks/30 weeks but at my 33 weeks scan her head was proportion

@Poppy my NHS trust uses a standard chart for everyone!

my baby’s head was very big, i had another scan and everything has levelled out he’s all in proportion now! also with head measurements, everyone has a different size head so i wouldn’t worry. me and my brother both have big heads whereas my other brother has a little pea head😂

Hello, We have had this this week after a growth scan - baby's head was measuring at 4th centile then has dropped to 3rd at the growth scan so have been referred to fetal medicine. Can I ask how you got on? We are so worried xx

@Holly They said that baby is constitutionally small because me and my partner are both small, all measurements are proportionate and they asked to see me a month later where they told me they don't want me going past 40 weeks as baby may not cope with Labour or an induction very well

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

20week scan!!

i had my 20week scan yesterday, everything looked okay on baby and we found out the gender!! it’s a girl 🩷🩷. but they said that my placenta is too close to my pelvis and they need to do extra scans to check on it? has anyone else been told this?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
