Partner in hospital while being induced

I was induced and my partner got to stay through everything.

Same as Rachel said! My partner stayed with me day and night until we left the hospital with our newborn. He was also the one speaking for me with doctors and nurses, when I was going through the contractions while induced. I couldn’t have had the clarity of my mind to speak to anyone, if he wasn’t there to support me.

My partner had to leave 8pm-7am unless I was moved to labour ward so it’ll depend on the hospital x

My partner was able to stay the entire time with me.

My partner was able to stay with me while induced and up until giving birth. After baby I had to stay a few days and he wasn't allowed to stay the first 2 nights but when moved to another ward he was able to stay again x

it depends on your hospital i think because at mine when i got induced my partner could stay on the ward with me from 10am-8pm and then had to go and once my waters went my partner could come back up and then stay with me then until i got back to the ward after having baby and then he could only stay til 8 again so i’d ask your hospital on their rules with it

I wasn't induced, was meant to be but they were too busy so I was left too long and went naturally, but my partner had to leave every night and come back in the morning until active labour started and I was moved to the birthing suite.
