Anyone experiencing or experienced an oblique lie at 36 weeks? He’s been head down since 32 weeks and now decided to shimmy his head to my right hip 🤦♀️ any recommendations on how to shift him back? I’m also hoping to have a home birth so now stressing I’ll be at more risk of needing a c-section 😮💨

Have a look on spinning babies 😊 it might help. X

thanks! Been recommended that by the midwife today so will give some of the exercises a go moving forward 🤞

Spinning babies is good. Have they offered you an ECV? It should be quite easy with an oblique lie. I’ve had an unstable lie from 36w until 38 + 6w. Baby was breech and I had a successful ECV at 36+5w but then baby decided to move all over the place and I ended up in hospital for a week due to the risk of cord prolapse! But has been head down now for 5 days so hoping they stay there 🤞🙏
