23+2 weeks and every single day this week I’ve woken up between 4.30-5am to go to the toilet and then can’t get back to sleep… usually lay in bed awake (might fall back to sleep for 30 mins before my alarm goes off at 7.30am) then I’m ruined for the whole day!
Anyone else the same?! Tips on falling back to sleep are welcome 🫠

I was like this with my first could never fall back to sleep. Once baby arrives trust me you’ll be able to fall asleep in 5 minutes 😂

Try eating something, normally works for me 😊

This is me, but it’s usually 3am! 🙈

Midwife told me this is completely normal in pregnancy, I’ve been waking up early for aaaaages and it doesn’t matter what time I go to sleep, my body wakes me up at 4-530 every morning! Even if I still feel tired.
I’ve just started going to bed earlier, and getting up to have a hot drink and relax on the sofa before I start getting ready for the day! Xx

You could try taking something to make you drowsy before you go to bed. I find my sickness tablets make me drowsy and I asked my midwife and she said I could use them to help me sleep if needs be

Same thing, I usually get up around 4.20 am and feel like I have to pee and drink water and I am hungry at the same time. I couldn't go back to sleep until 6.30 am, it's exhausting ngl.

This happens to me on and off since 6 weeks! Eating a carby breakfast once I wake up early helps me too, I feel sleepy again within an hour. I prefer to get up, then chill on the sofa until I doze off for an extra hour or two
