How long are y’all wearing diapers?

My bleeding/lochia is very minimal. Would it be okay to switch to high waisted panties and pads?

I switched about a week ago

I only wore as much as I needed. I switched to light pads after probably 5 days

I switched to regular undies and pads after about a week only cause I found it easier to wear the ice packs with the diapers. Once the swelling went down I switched to regular pads and undies. Do what you feel is comfy.

I swapped to panty liners and regular underwear at 2.5 weeks. I think it’s all personal decision! Disposable underwear are awesome too if you’re worried at all you’ll bleed through and ruin your pants

I switched to underwear and pads at 2 weeks

I switched after about a week to period undies (the kind with the built in pad) at night and just reg pads during the day. If I felt pelvic heaviness/swelling I would do a diaper with an ice pack for like an hour or so and then switch back.

I switched to the disposable panties and pads after 1 week because I ran out of diapers and
I had bought 4 bags, also wasn’t having much bleeding/swelling anymore and I got diaper rash after the 3 day wearing them tho I think it was the witch hazel liners that did that.
I’ll see if I can switch to regular panties next week (2w pp) but for me the problem is that my regular panties for period (black) don’t fit so those disposable have more room but are awkward for the pads. Also not sure if it happens to anyone else but my bleeding was almost gone and then the last 2-3 days I’ve been having on and off big gushes that sometimes passes through my pads.

I’ve been the same as you Juliet. Was almost down to nothing and the last few days have had gushes. I’m 3 weeks pp

I switched after I noticed my bleeding slowed down. I still wear the bigger pads in case but I’ve been wearing my maternity underwear with a pad

so weird and annoying, this can happen for weeks! 🤦🏻‍♀️

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(
