When did everyone start buying their baby stuff?

I’m 13 weeks and just wondering when they started buy things and what things did you buy first and or suggest to buy first 😅?

I'm 14 weeks. I think I'll hold off until 24 weeks. I want to have my virtual baby shower first, then get whatever else I need.

I definitely bought about 10 outfits/sets but they're still in the bags. It feels too soon. Probably won't start shopping until the halfway mark

It's my 3rd baby so I'm taking anything anyone gives me already 😂. Cribs are pointless imo, I'm getting a 3 in 1 pack n play. I have a diaper genie, rock n play, some swaddles and stuff so far. Honestly only things im getting new is the car seat, pack n play, bottle nipples and nuks lol

I started buying things when I found out

i started a registry but not buying anything until after line 25 weeks

I would think getting diapers now wouldn't hurt cause you will need a lot of them

careful on the sizes you get though. Size 2 & 3 are best size to stock up on imo.

I've been told that a lot I have size 1 and 2 diapers right now

I say start now.. especially when you find out what you’re having! I’m going to start with diapers and wipes

I signed up for my registries when I found out and I’ve started buying things here and there, because a lot of stores are having sales to push out leftover summer and fall stock and bring in winter Christmas. We are starting to buy a box of diapers every time we go grocery shopping to stock up and a few months before baby comes, we will do the same with formula. I don’t want to run into a shortage like a lot of moms have had to deal with. I plan on breastfeeding, but that was touch and go with my daughter, so I want to be prepared. And they usually expire in a year. I’d say at the end of the day do what feels best for you. We’ve waited till the second trimester to announce because of two pervious miscarriages and I don’t get morning sickness while pregnant, so other than cramping, nasal congestion, headaches and exhaustion/fatigue, all I have is anxiety in worrying. So, baby items bring me back to a calm state with a boost in serotonin and make the pregnancy feel real.z

We’ve bought a few things already.

FTM here. I’ve spent hours researching and building baby registry since 8 weeks, and picked up a rare great deal on FB markpetplace, but nothing full priced gets purchased until after the baby shower at 6 months. Also waiting on some hand me downs. I’d rather wait and only buy what’s needed, than stock up on things and not need them. Also, Amazon delivery makes it so much easier to get things quickly.

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(
