2nd baby baby shower?

My SIL had a baby shower for her second because her first was 13 years ago. I saved pretty much everything from my first child and we plan for another next year, so instead of a full shower, I may just throw a “baby sprinkle” lol. Especially if the baby is going to be the opposite sex

Friends always give you presents anyways so I didn't feel the need to do it all over again.

Honestly didn't do one for either. Did a baby announcement zoom call for my first and a gender reveal for my second. I kept everything from my first so I had a lot of gender neutral clothing to use. I also knew friends and family that were going to buy them clothes would do so without the party and I live in a different state then most of my friends and family.

I'm trying to work out if I would just be doing it for the gifts lol and it seems that way, which is not needed cause I have everything. I'm due in December and literally just want to hibernate, other than see maybe 2 friends. Thanks for your feedback girls xx

I can say when/if I get pregnant again I would want to do a baby shower because every babies life deserves to be celebrated ✨️🥳

Hey hun yeah but you can celebrate a baby without lots of people and a gift list. I'm tempted to just do a meal with my family x

yeah I know, I feel like the second baby shower is for more like celebrating the baby than buying things, ig "baby shower" wouldn't be the word

or the second baby shower has like baby books specifically for baby #2

Yh hun. I don't know. I'm thinking after noon tea with my mum and sisters. I'm due in December and Christmas is round the corner so feel like it's gonna be such a hectic month anyway
