Not able to bear the pain

38.3 weeks. Yesterday night had bloody show(pretty good amount of blood) , went to the triage and they mentioned I’m just 1 cm dilated and sent me home.
I have been having intense contractions almost 10 min apart (not super consistent) and have been losing mucus plug accompanied with blood.
Will they admit me in if I go now? Contractions are so painful I feel like throwing up

It depends how dilated you are. Sounds like early labor still so they might still send you home until your contractions are closer together and more consistent.

@leah @gabrielle I stayed home until yesterday night which is like 20 hours after I got sent back home and then when the contractions got closer like 10 mins apart we left home and by the time I reached the hospital they were 5 mins apart . When nurses checked I was 5 cm dilated and contractions were pretty intense so they admitted me, got epidural and about 5 hours later I had my baby boy after pushing for about 10 mins

It helped me to stay home till the contractions got super intense and 10 mins apart!
I still can’t believe it was me who bore that pain

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
