Cows milk allergy

So I know they say it takes around 4 weeks for dairy to be fully out of mum and babys system but from anyone who has had to go dairy free for their LO, when did you actually notice a difference in your baby's symptoms? Was there any immediate relief??

I'm 3 weeks in and am wondering the same, as we still seem to have all the reflux, constipation and now trapped gas! Although we did get a little bit of immediate relief in her patch of dry skin and she started feeding a bit better

oh boy! It's so hard isn't it, like when do you call it a day and decide it's not working?? Our health visitor thinks his tummy pains are either colic or dairy intolerance. We're 2 weeks in but LO is also 7 weeks so he's basically in the peak of colic, if that's what he has, so that should be easing off from now but then how do I know if it's colic easing or dairy free working 😩😂

Yes it is so difficult to kow isnt it?! They said to me its either silent reflux or CMPA but because she had a little patch of dry skin on her forehead and I was allergic to cheese for 20 years (it's genetic apparently) they suggested we try this first! I feel like in the last week she's started developing slight colicky symptoms, she's 11 weeks old so I wouldve thought if it was colic it would've shown and peaked by now as my son had it noricably from 4 weeks old, but I'm waiting for a follow up from the HV for some advice as I've been completely dairy free for just over 3 weeks and I'm unsure if it's working! I would persist for the full time though just so they if things haven't improved you know you tried the dairy free option!

Immediately for scrunching up her belly, less constipation and better colour poos! Xx

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x

Fighting naps

Does anybody else feel like they spend all day trying to get baby to nap? I get tempted to give up as he must not be that tired but he is too cranky to play or do anything else!
